Neighborhood Freebies Account Deletion

This page explains how users of Neighborhood Freebies can request deletion of their app account and associated data.

1) How to Request Account Deletion

Send an email to neighborhood.freebies@gmail.com with subject line: Account Deletion Request - Neighborhood Freebies.

To help us find your account without requiring you to know your Firebase UID, include as many of the following as possible:

• The name shown in your app profile (first name and last initial)
• The address/location text used in your profile
• One or more recent post titles you created (if any)
• Approximate date/time of your latest app activity (post or message)
• Your device platform (Android or iOS)

If we cannot confidently match your request to an account, we will reply and ask for additional identifying details before deletion.

2) What We Delete

• Your app account record (Firebase Authentication user)
• Your profile data stored for the app
• Your FCM token records used for push notifications
• Your posts, associated post metadata, and related uploaded post images
• Conversation/message data linked to your posts, as applicable by backend cleanup logic

3) What May Be Retained

• Minimal operational records required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance
• Limited backup data for disaster recovery, retained for up to 30 days before permanent deletion

4) Deletion Timeline

• We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days
• After account verification, we aim to complete deletion within 30 days
